A redesign concept for a real West Chester, OH painting contractor, reconstructed after its original domain lapsed.
Design direction
The business’s own domain had lapsed and no longer resolves to its real site, so this rebuild was reconstructed from a Wayback Machine archive of the original site plus public directory listings — a clean, modern layout built around the real service list and an FAQ-style breakdown of the painting process.
What the redesign addressed
- No live website at all at the time of research — the original domain now resolves to an unrelated site.
- The archived site’s service and process information was reorganized into a clearer, skimmable structure (an FAQ accordion covering repaint cycle, prep work, sheen, and coats) instead of dense paragraphs.
Key improvements
- Modern, mobile-friendly layout in place of the archived Wix template.
- Services broken into a clear, scannable structure.
- Straightforward contact/quote-request path front and center.
- A project gallery section to showcase real work once photos are available.
