Blacklist Boardshop concept — desktop homepage

Two shops. One crew. Zero template energy.

Designed

A five-page brand showcase: home, about (the 2004 story), shop as a guide to how the store is organized, locations and contact.

Intended to

Read as two genuinely separate shops with one shared identity — amber for Lawrenceburg, teal for Cincinnati — rather than one generic “our stores” block.

Considerations

Real storefront and crew photography, bold condensed type, category cards with honest “sample” labels, and a deliberate CSS pattern wherever no product photo existed — never stock imagery.

Personality, controlled

Energy without noise.

Red exists as a single rule and a highlight color — never as a background. Everything else is black, white and photography, which lets the shop’s own deck wall and shoe wall bring the color.

On mobile, the two location buttons sit under the headline so a visitor picks a shop before anything else.
