Cutman Barbershop
A redesign concept for a real 3-location barbershop serving Covington, KY and Cincinnati, OH.
Design direction
A dependency-free HTML/CSS/JS rebuild — not a copy of the live site's Squarespace theme. Real recovered photography throughout, and a dark/gold palette that reads as classic-barbershop rather than generic template.
What the redesign addressed
- Three separate shop locations (Covington KY, Walnut Hills, East Price Hill) needed one clear, unified experience instead of feeling like three different sites.
- Each location books through a different provider (Resurva per-shop, TheCut per-barber) — the redesign gives every location and every barber one obvious, direct booking link rather than a generic “contact us.”
Key improvements
- Simple location picker up front, so a visitor lands on the right shop’s info immediately.
- Per-barber bios and booking links, not just a shared shop-wide number.
- Mobile-first layout built around a thumb-reachable booking CTA.
- Real shop photography used throughout — no stock images.
