Skate Shop / Retail
Blacklist Boardshop
A brand showcase concept for a real two-location skate shop in Lawrenceburg, IN and Cincinnati, OH.
Design direction
Two real locations, kept clearly distinct throughout with separate accent colors (amber for Lawrenceburg, teal for Cincinnati), separate cards, and separate structured data — rather than blending them into one generic “our stores” section.
What the redesign addressed
- Two locations with different histories and hours needed to read as genuinely separate, not a copy-pasted second card.
- Several product subcategories had no real photo available; rather than use stock photography, those use a deliberate CSS pattern and label instead of a broken image or a stock photo.
Key improvements
- Color-coded, clearly separated location sections.
- Real 2004-founding brand story and archival crew photography.
- Honest “sample, not live inventory” labeling anywhere product categories are shown.
