StockPilot

AI inventory organization and purchasing intelligence.

For businesses that manage physical inventory — parts, products, materials, stock. Upload the export you already have, confirm which columns are which, and get back a cleaned workbook plus a list of the items that actually need a decision.

Built from StockPilot’s synthetic sample file — made-up items, real output.

The problem

Built for messy exports.

StockPilot is built around the problems that show up in real inventory exports, not perfectly formatted spreadsheets.

  • Messy SKUs

    Normalize inconsistent SKU formats.

  • Duplicate records

Group duplicate records before they create reporting problems.

  • Bad data

Surface blank, invalid, and negative values for review.

  • Formatting noise

Safely clean up values like currency symbols so the numbers add up.

How it works

Five steps from a messy export to a clean answer.

No new system to set up and no data entry. StockPilot works from the spreadsheet your inventory system already gives you.

  1. Upload

Drop in an Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV inventory export.

  2. Confirm columns

SKU, item name, quantity, price, cost, and sales columns are auto-detected from your headers. Fix anything it guessed wrong.

  3. Clean

SKUs are normalized, duplicates grouped, and missing or unparseable values found. Safe fixes like $1,000 → 1000 are applied for you.

  4. Review

A summary, the duplicate groups, the data-quality issues, and a recommendations table of the items that need a decision.

  5. Export

Download the cleaned data and the full report together as one Excel workbook.

The output

What a finished run looks like.

The results view for StockPilot’s built-in synthetic sample file (eleven made-up items). Every number is the application’s real output for that file.

Who it's for

Built for businesses that manage real inventory.

StockPilot works with the inventory data you already have — the spreadsheet or CSV your system exports today. It turns a messy list of parts, products, or materials into organized, usable information: normalized SKUs, duplicates grouped, gaps found, and a short list of items that need a decision.

  • Distributors & industrial suppliers

Electrical, plumbing/HVAC, construction, and equipment suppliers with broad catalogs and long price lists.

  • Manufacturers & machine shops

Parts and raw-material lists where the same item ends up under two SKUs or with a missing cost.

  • Auto parts & equipment businesses

Deep SKU lists exported from a parts system, with slow movers and stock-outs buried in the rows.

  • Retail & wholesale

Product catalogs exported from a POS or ordering system that need cleaning before anyone plans a buy.

  • Promotional products, screen printing & embroidery

Blanks, inks, threads, and finished goods tracked across more than one spreadsheet.

  • Any business with meaningful physical stock

If your inventory lives in an export today, StockPilot can organize and analyze it.

StockPilot works alongside whatever you use to run the business. It reads exports; it does not replace your ERP or point of sale, connect to it, or track stock in real time.

Capabilities

What it does today. What's next.

StockPilot is in early access. Everything on the left works now; everything on the right is on the roadmap and not yet built.

Available now

Deterministic data cleanup and risk flags — the same file always produces the same result.

  • Upload Excel or CSV inventory.xlsx, .xls, and .csv exports. Column roles are auto-detected from your headers and editable before anything runs.
  • Automatically clean and normalize SKUsTrims whitespace, standardizes case and separators, and shows every before → after change.
  • Find duplicate and missing dataDuplicate SKUs grouped with their rows and total quantity; missing SKUs flagged as high priority; missing required fields, unparseable numbers, and negative values listed separately.
  • Analyze historical salesAn average across whichever sales-period columns you select, used to size stock against demand.
  • Identify stock-out and replenishment risksOut-of-stock items that still sell, overstock and severe overstock by periods of stock on hand, bad prices, and negative quantities — each with a plain-English recommended action.
  • Organize inventory into a usable formatA cleaned table with normalized SKUs and safely corrected values, ready to work from.
  • Export the cleaned and analyzed dataOne Excel workbook with the cleaned table and the full report, ready to share or work from.

Purchasing opportunitiesReorder-point and reorder-quantity suggestions per item. Today StockPilot flags the risk and recommends a review; it doesn't yet tell you how much to buy.

Min/max, open-PO, and reserved-stock analysisUsing the min/max levels, open purchase orders, and reserved quantities many ERP exports already include.
  • →
AI-assisted organizationSmarter column detection and grouping. The current version uses no AI at all — it is rule-based from end to end.

Your data

Your inventory stays yours.

The current version of StockPilot runs on your own computer. Your file is processed in memory on that machine and never uploaded to a server, sent to a third-party service, or stored by Snyder Creative Studio.

Every example on this page uses a small synthetic sample file of made-up items. No customer's or employer's inventory data is used in any public demo.
